Friday was another great day in Tela. We were hosted to a large party of appreciation by the school at Luis Landa (spelling is correct at last)
We continued painting and gave the first and second graders fluoride treatments at Luis Landa as well.
We had lunch at our hotel on the beach with the seniors that posed for us.
Friday evening we had a dinner and dance with the seniors and their parents at a local restaurant that went very well.
It is now Saturday morning and team one is preparing to depart to the airport. Everyone has had a great week and are praying for our team two members.

Saturday_
Beautiful day in Tela. We saw the first week team off at 9. The Seniors were playing in a volleyball tournament with 4 other schools at Espiritu Santo, so those of us who remained spent part of the morning watching our kids play. They did very well, and both the girls and boys teams came in 2nd place for the weekend. Sally and Mary Elizabeth decided to include the entire wall of the elementary school for the mural.
Sunday_
Bob left after breakfast to drive to San Pedro Sula to help receive the 2nd team. The rest of us went to the Sunday service at Espirtu Santo. Kevin celebrated the Eucharest with Olga and Fransisco- This week all of the small children atttended the entire service. Kevin invited all of them to join him at the altar for the celebration. It was a joy to see them follow him and mimic him as he blessed the elements. Kevin was speaking in English, and although few, if any of the children understood our language, it was clear that we were all speaking a universal language. It was a joy to be there.
The team arrived mid afternoon- tired after an early morning and a "lost" hour, but in great spirits. We quickly moved to the different work areas to prepare for Monday. The pharmacy team completed their set up at the schoolhouse in San Martin. Every Sunday Olga and Fransisco bring that community together for church, which has been a blessing for the residents of San Martin. Their presence has been a beautiful blessing for those wonderful people. The pharmacy team was there to witness this.
The mural was completed late Sunday and can be seen even from the street. This is clearly a gift that will be enjoyed by more than the students and faculty at Espiritu Santo. It is full of dancing children, flowers, rolling hills....and if you look closely, you will see that Bevo has been to Tela!
